Employee buses

How many people actually ride your employee bus?

Employee buses and shared rides in one app. Employees show a code when boarding, and the plant sees the occupancy of every run.

The bus today

You know what the bus costs to the złoty. Not how full it is.

Plants usually pay the carrier per run or per kilometre. What is missing is the data needed to choose the vehicle and the timetable.

You pay per run or per kilometre

The invoice is the same no matter how many people got on the bus that day.

You don't know who rides tomorrow

Without passengers announcing themselves, it is hard to match the vehicle size to a specific run.

You can't see empty and full stretches

Nobody knows at which stops and on which shifts the bus runs empty, and where seats run out.

How it works

Three steps: reservation, boarding, occupancy

1Employee

Signs up once. Then only marks the days they don't travel.

The employee picks their stop, and reservations are created automatically from the shift schedule. No daily sign-ups.

  • “Not travelling” can be marked until 8 pm the day before.
  • Sees the whole commute: the walk to the stop, the bus and the arrival time at the plant.

2Boarding

A code on the employee's phone, an answer at the door

The employee shows a code that changes every 30 seconds and works offline. The phone at the door answers with a colour, a word and a sound. The driver doesn't have to operate anything.

  • Rides
  • Boards, no reservation
  • Does not board

3Driver and plant

The driver sees runs with reservations. The plant sees occupancy.

The carrier's driver logs in for the shift on the phone in the bus and sees today's runs with the number of reservations. The plant gets the occupancy of every run.

What the plant gets

Data for decisions about vehicles and runs

You control transport and its cost: you know which runs are needed and what vehicle size is enough.

  • Run occupancy

For every run, every line and every stop.

  • Tomorrow's forecast

From reservations and cancellations made by 8 pm.

  • Cost per passenger

What it costs to carry one person on a given run.

  • No-show list

    Reservations nobody used.

  • Only company employees board

You get on the bus with a valid code or an ID badge.

  • One app, one report

Bus and shared rides in the same place.

Bus and shared rides

Shared rides complement the bus perfectly

The bus covers the main routes. Shared rides cover the rest.

For employees

A second way to get to work

When the bus is full, has left or doesn't fit overtime, the app immediately shows shared rides for the same shift.

For the timetable

Shared rides where the bus doesn't go

Towns off the route and shifts without a run are covered by employees driving in the same direction. No new line and no extra contract with the carrier.

For the plant

Control over the whole commute to the plant

Bus and shared rides in one report: how many people commute by which mode, on which routes and shifts, and what it costs.

How we start

Start with one line

We start with one line to see real occupancy quickly. We add more lines after a conversation.

What we provide

  • Configuration of lines, stops and runs
  • The employee app
  • The app for the phone on the bus
  • Occupancy report
  • Support at launch

What we need from the plant

  1. A “scan when boarding” ruleThe phone on the bus reads a QR code from the app, a barcode from an ID badge or an NFC tag.
  2. One line to start with
  3. The timetable and the shift schedule

How do you pay the carrier?
Who is responsible for the bus at your company?
Would you introduce a scan-when-boarding rule?
Does the carrier share the buses' GPS position today?
Do employees have ID badges?

Frequently asked questions about employee buses

How soon can we start?

We agree the start date after a call, once we know the lines, the timetable and the shift schedule.

How much does it cost?

We agree the price in a call, depending on the number of lines.

Does the driver have to operate the phone?

They can, but they don't have to. The phone can be mounted in a holder by the door and checks codes on its own.

What if an employee has no smartphone or a flat battery?

They can check in with a barcode employee badge. Contactless cards are supported depending on the card technology at the plant, which we check in the call. As a last resort the driver adds the person with a single “+1 without the app” button, so the passenger count stays accurate.

What about the carrier?

The phone on the bus is the plant's decision. We don't require integration with the carrier's systems.

What data do we collect about employees?

The reservation and the check-in when boarding. We don't track employees.
